Devs give a progress update on Hollow Knight: Silksong

The devs behind Hollow Knight: Silksong know that fans have been waiting very patiently for the title, and unfortunately, the waiting will have to continue.
A member of Team Cherry games took to Twitter to announce that Silksong was originally slated to be out in the first half of 2023, but that’s no longer happening. As of this time, no specific release date has been shared. You can read the team member’s full response below.
Hey gang, just a quick update about Silksong.
We had planned to release in the 1st half of 2023, but development is still continuing. We’re excited by how the game is shaping up, and it’s gotten quite big, so we want to take the time to make the game as good as we can.
Expect more details from us once we get closer to release.

12M agoMakes me sad. I really want this to come out, but it's hard not to think the game has problems right now.

12M agoDidn’t this also start off as DLC? At a certain point you have to just stop adding more and ship a game otherwise you’ll burn out the devs and also risk gamers losing interest.
