This seems like a port of the Steam version then. I wonder if they'll rebrand the name on Steam to match the console release?
Anyways to anyone unfamiliar with Ys, Felghana is the remake of the third Ys game, Wanderers of Ys. The story synopsis is that Dogi brings Adol to Felghana where after stopping at Dogi's hometown, Adol's adventure in Felghana begins after monsters invade a local mine which prompts Adol to have to deal with the mine.
The Oath in Felghana is an action RPG to match later Ys entries, but also is similar to other action RPGs like Secret of Mana (minus the multiplayer) or most 2D Zelda games a la Link to the Past. If you liked Secret of Mana, A Link to the Past, or other games of the genre, The Oath in Felghana will be right up your alley.
You won't need to know about the other Ys games outside Ys I where Dogi and Adol meet and Ys II which Felghana is a sequel to. You may also want to look at Ys Origin which sets the backstory of the ancient Ys region itself.
All of these games may also prep you for Ys X which is set during the time of Ys I and II. Adol doesn't have his trademark silver armor yet in X which implies X may happen sometime before Ys I and II.
