This is what I was curious to see. We seen in the other story with the top 10 that Kirby and the Forgotten Land sold fantastically well. But I wanted to see if there was any other new game released on Switch, and sure enough, down in 21st position we find "Miss Kobayashi’s Dragon Maid: Burst Forth!! Choro-gon Breath". That's a mouthful(mode). But this is so typical of what happens when first and 3rd party games release. The contrast is gigantic. 380,000 sales versus let's say 3,500. A x100+ difference in sales numbers.

And you can say it's because of Kirby, but it's typical regardless of a 1st party game releasing or not. 3rd party sales on Switch are horrendous, bar a few exceptions and well established franchises. You gotta wonder are some of these companies even making a profit.

Edit: I should add, that the gap would only widen even further with digital sales added in.
