We're gonna need an update on this update

Usually when a game gets an update, it leaves the game in a better state than it was before the patch. In the case of Minecraft, it seems quite the opposite has happened.

As we reported earlier this week, Minecraft was updated to 1.19.70. While this update included a host of tweaks and fixes, it seems to have also made the game unplayable for some people. Players have noticed that when they try to start up the game, the loading bar freezes at 66% and the game never initiates.

Thankfully, Mojang is already aware of this issue and they’re working on a solution. You can see their complete message to fans below.

“We are aware that the 1.19.60 update is causing some performance issues for players on Switch. We are actively looking into solutions and hope to have the issues addressed as soon as possible. Thank you for your patience and we apologise for the issues caused.”
