Epic Games has announced that V-Bucks purchased via Fortnite on PlayStation, Xbox, PC, Android, and Cloud Gaming Services will soon have a shared wallet upon release of the v20.40 update. Unfortunately, this means the Nintendo Switch version will be the lone wolf in having a locked V-Bucks wallet that can’t be accessed from the battle royale game’s menu on other platforms.

The reasoning for this is unknown. Perhaps Nintendo simply doesn’t want to play nice, or maybe there is some sort of exclusivity issue regarding purchases from the eShop in general. Regardless, it’s a bit disappointing seeing Switch exempt from this new feature.

If the following were asked: "Which console will not share the V Bucks?". Unfortunately, we'd already know the answer.
