Monster Hunter Stories 2: Wings of Ruin launched on Switch back in July of 2021, and it’s been chugging along ever since. The game most recently expanded to the PS4 this very month, and Capcom has now provided an update on the overall sales figures.

Across Switch, PC and PS4 combined, Capcom has announced that over 2 million units of Monster Hunter Stories 2: Wings of Ruin have been sold. Capcom also stated that sales for the game were at 1.9 million units as of March 31st, 2024, so you can see roughly where combined Switch and PC figures are now.

In the game, players assume the role of the protagonist, the grandchild of the legendary Monster Rider Red, who meets a Wyverian girl named Ena before taking off on a grand adventure revolving around the Wings of Ruin.
