Limited Run Games is celebrating Seedy Eye Software’s Arzette: The Jewel of Faramore with a brand-new trailer that pulls some of the accolades and praise seen around the web since the game’s launch. If you’ve been on the fence about this one, perhaps today’s trailer will push you over the edge!

Arzette: The Jewel of Faramore is a spiritual successor to a pair of infamous CD-i fantasy adventure titles released in 1993. Developed by Seedy Eye Software and both funded & published by Limited Run Games, it is an all-new platforming adventure where players must help Arzette save the Kingdom of Faramore from the evil demon king, Daimur.

The Kingdom of Faramore is beautifully realized by Rob Dunlavey, the artist behind the world map paintings from the games that inspired Arzette. Plus! Voiceover talent from the games that inspired Arzette returns to lend their charm to this adventure, including Jeffrey Rath and Bonniejean Wilbur! It’s a quirky, fun homage to a more experimental time in gaming—but with smooth, modern gameplay that won’t make players pull out their hair (unless they opt for a retro challenge in its “Classic Mode”).
