Believe it or not, it’s been a whole decade since the original Five Nights at Freddy’s was released. Since then, the series has had several sequels, spin-offs, merchandise, and even a movie. In order to properly commemorate the occasion, series creator Scott Cawthon has announced a full lineup of events taking place from August 1st to August 8th, 2024.

Here’s the schedule of 10th anniversary celebration events (so far):

  • August 1st- MyPopgoes, Full Game Release
  • August 2nd- The Joy of Creation (remake), Demo
  • August 3rd- VIP- Interactive Novel (free)
  • August 4th- Steel Wool Announcement
  • August 5th- Scott Cawthon Interview with Dawko 2.0
  • August 6th- ??? Collab Announcement
  • August 7th- Five Laps at Freddy’s (by Clickteam), Demo
  • August 8th- Into the Pit, Full Game Release

Right now it’s totally clear if that Into the Pit release date is for all consoles including Switch, or just PC or other platforms. We do know it’s heading to Nintendo’s eShop at some point, so there’s a good chance August 8th, 2024 is the official date.

Another event worth noting is the “??? Collab Announcement” on August 6th, which fans are speculating might be a partnership with Fortnite due to a Fortnite update occurring on the same date. There’s absolutely no confirmation on that one way or the other at this point, but it’s always fun to speculate!

Cawthon notes that this schedule of events might change a little before August, and it’s likely that more will be added to it as well. If you’re a Freddy fan, stay tuned for updates!
