Niantic couldn’t leave Düsseldorf without making an appearance at DoKomi, too! If you’re attending, don’t let the opportunity escape to get your hands on a few extra Pikmin Bloom seedlings by visiting Special Spots and completing an exclusive Spot Challenge!

DoKomi is a convention that brings together a variety of diverse groups that share a common interest in Japan, and particularly in pop culture elements such as anime, manga, cosplay, gaming, and music, among others. Its purpose is to provide a platform for the German and European community to come together for an experience of exchange and enrichment!

DoKomi: Anime & Japan Expo

  • Date & Time: June 28 at 11:00 to June 30 at 20:00 (local time)
  • Special Spots and Spot Challenge will be available during the time above
  • Venue: Convention Center Düsseldorf
  • Organizers: AkibaDreams GmbH

When you are at the Convention Center Düsseldorf, you will receive a mission to walk 1000 steps. Clear the mission to receive a Gold Seedling that grows into a Gold Present Sticker Red Decor Pikmin.

  • If you don’t’ clear the mission while at the Convention Center Düsseldorf, you can still clear it afterwards.
  • The mission is available only once per user. Once you clear it, you won’t receive it again even if you visit the Convention Center Düsseldorf more than once during the event.
  • The mission must be completed by July 7, 2024, at 23:59 (local time).

Besides the Spot Challenge mission, there will be a total of 3 Special Spots located at the Nintendo stand inside the Convention Center and Nord Park. Swipe down on these Special Spots to receive Gold Seedlings that grow respectively into Pikmin 4 Spaceship, Dandelion, and Clover Decor Pikmin (if you’re lucky, you may even meet a 4 Leaf Clover Decor Pikmin!)

  • The color of the Pikmin will be randomized.
  • The amount of Gold Seedlings you can receive from each Special Spot is limited to one per day, per user.

Niantic says they’ve come to Europe to stay! Next stop: Japan Expo in Paris, to be held July 11th to 14th. Stay tuned for details!
