Dragon Quest III HD-2D Remake will let you experience the chronological beginning of the Erdrick Trilogy storyline in a remake of the original RPG classic, now with vibrant HD-2D visuals and an expanded narrative. Dragon Quest III HD-2D Remake launches on Switch Nov. 14th, 2024, but those in Japan will have a chance to go hands-on before that.

Square Enix has announced that they’re hosting a Dragon Quest Carnival in Minatomirai, Yokohama from July 20th, 2024, until August 18, 2024. This event will obviously have all kinds of Dragon Quest activities to participate in, but the star of the show will be a hands-on opportunity with Dragon Quest III HD-2D Remake.

Specifics on the demo have not been shared, nor do we know if there will be events in NA/EU for fans around the world to give the game a try. Let’s hope Square Enix sees Dragon Quest III HD-2D Remake as an opportunity to break through with the franchise around the world, and we all get to give this one a try before its launch in November.
