Back in October 2023, Compile Heart announced Madou Monogatari 4 for Switch. Since then, things have been quiet on the sequel, but that’s going to change in just a matter of hours.

The latest issue of Famitsu has put Madou Monogatari 4 on the cover, as the magazine is going to be stuffed to the gills with new details on the game. Along with that, we’ve learned that the game has received an official name, as it’s now being called Monogatari: Fia and the Mysterious School.

As we said back in October, Monogatari: Fia and the Mysterious School is the first new numbered entry in the series in several decades. This outing is being developed by Sting in cooperation with intellectual property holder D4 Enterprise, and it’s due out Summer 2024 in Japan. Many former Compile staff are involved, including Sting’s president. Last but not least, SEGA is also cooperating, allowing the use Puyo Puyo characters.

When the new details from this issue of Famitsu come in, we’ll make sure to share the breakdown with you.
