A few months ago, Nintendo shared details on Mario Kart 8 Deluxe’s Booster Course Pass. The game would be getting 48 remastered tracks, with packs of 8 tracks being released in 6 waves. The first of those waves came out in March 2022, but when will the rest of the waves come along? We could be seeing one much sooner than you think.

Mario Kart 8 Deluxe is set for some online maintenance later tonight, but no details have been shared as to why. Whenever online maintenance is scheduled for the Switch Online NES/SNES/Genesis/N64 apps, it results in a new wave of games being added. Could it be the same for Mario Kart 8 Deluxe? We certainly hope so, which is why we’ve got fingers and toes crossed!

We’ll keep an eye on the maintenance schedule, and once we have details on what’s being worked on, we’ll be sure to let you know.

The only track I truly want is Waluigi Pinball (which is also literally the only redeeming quality Waluigi has). There are a handful of others I'd like to see but won't sweat if we don't get them, like Luigi's Mansion and Delfino Square. Also, it's not a coincidence that the tracks I want most are all from Mario Kart DS.

The only track I truly want is Daisy Cruiser (which is also literally one of the many redeeming qualities daisy has) There are a handful of others I'd like to see but won't sweat if we don't get them like Luigi's Circuit and Mushroom Bridge. Also it's not a coincidence that the tracks I want most are all from Mario Kart Double Dash!!.
