Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak's Gore Magala and Espinas armor revealed

In addition to new monsters and combat mechanics, Monster Hunter Rise’s upcoming Sunbreak expansion will of course feature new armor sets. Now, Capcom has given us a good look at two of those armor sets: Gore Magala and Espinas. Two video previews show off both male and female variants, as well as versions fit for your Palico and Palamute companions! Below, find the videos of both armor sets; first Gore Magala, then Espinas.

Both of these armor sets have appeared in previous Monster Hunter titles, and seem to be returning with similar looks overall. Eagle-eyed fans will notice some changes however, like new patterns on the Espinas armor’s coat. And of course, the Palamute variants are all new for this version of the game.

Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak will release on Nintendo Switch on June 30, 2022. Stay tuned for more sneak peeks as that date gets ever closer!

That Gore Magala armour looks awesome all round, on the Palamute and Palicoes as well. I'm not surprised it has nearly x3 as many likes compared to the Espinas set.
