Pokémon Scarlet and Violet will include a whole host of new critters to catch, and one of those is Pawmi, a cute little electric mouse type Pokémon (hmm, why does that sound so familiar…?). No official word has been given on whether or not Pawmi will evolve, or what a potential evolution could look like. However, that hasn’t stopped an image from floating around that seemingly shows an in-game screenshot of a secondary Pawmi form. Click below if you’d like to see what this potential leak is all about.

We haven’t been able to pinpoint an exact source for this supposed leak, so there’s a pretty good chance it’s fake. That said, it is a fairly convincing imitation of the Pokémon Scarlet and Violet art style. If real, it seems that Pawmi’s evolution causes it to grow a little bigger, stand up taller, and get a new hair style.

So, what do you think? Could this be legit, or is it just a fake? The only way to know for sure is to wait for an official announcement from Nintendo, or for the new games to release on November 18, 2022.

Does mimic the style very well, but seems fake to me. A little too similar to Pawmi in my opinion. But those jaggies do scream Switch graphics

The electric rodent Pokemon never gets an evolution. Not since Gen 2 finished the Pikachu line. So I'm skeptical. It also seems to lack a concept. It really looks like 'Pawmi, but drawn as a middle evolution instead of a starter Pokemon'

Can you put these behind spoiler tags or at least change the highlight image and put the info behind a "click to read the rest of the story".

Seeing the supposed leaked image on the main image post and not behind a click wall kinda defeats the purpose of people are trying to avoid potential spoilers.

Why is this out in the open and not behind the post with spoiler tags.

Sorry about that gang, it didn't occur to me that this could be a spoiler for people looking to go into the game fresh. I put it behind a jump. Hopefully not too much harm done!

I have to agree that this looks way too close to Pawmi to be real.
