UPDATE: It seems the long lines of day one have been remedied for day two, and by a significant amount. Those looking to get into the pop-up shop are saying the wait lasts for roughly 20 minutes before getting entry to the shop, which is immensely better than the 6-hour wait from yesterday. Hopefully things only continue to get better from here.

You can read our original report on this matter below.

Remember back in 2019 when the Pokémon Center Pop-Up Store saw incredibly long lines and sold out of exclusive merch almost instantly? It looks like we’re in for a repeat of that, as another mass of humanity has descended upon the Pokémon Center Pop-Up Store in London.

The Pokémon Center Pop-Up Store in London just opened its doors today, yet it’s already bringing in an insane amount of people. While we don’t have any official word on just how many people have shown up, there are reports of lines that last 4 to 5 hours. It looks like those who want to pick up some merch are in for a very long wait, and they may come up empty-handed anyway.

Pokémon Co. did offer fans the chance to book a visit to the pop-up store online, and while plenty of people have done that, they are still sitting in line for their chance to enter. Granted, it seems the booked appointments are moving people in and out more quickly, but you’ll still be in line for over an hour.

You can check out pictures and footage of the insane lines via the tweets below.
