Next slate of Switch Online N64 games compared to their original versions
Looking quite sharp...and clear...and smooth
During Nintendo’s Direct earlier today, we learned about the next round of Nintendo 64 games releasing for the Switch Online N64 app. Just in case you missed it, the lineup is as follows:
2022:
- Pilotwings 64
- Mario Party
- Mario Party 2
2023:
- Mario Party 3
- Pokémon Stadium
- Pokémon Stadium 2
- 1080 Snowboarding
- Excitebike 64
- GoldenEye 007
The video above takes the footage we saw from some of those games today and compares it to the original releases. Obviously, things look a lot sharper and with brighter colors, but even better, everything is running in 60 FPS. That’ll certainly make for a better experience overall!
