I’ve made some levels in Super Mario Maker 1 and 2, and while I had a ton of fun doing it, I know what I’ve crafted is nowhere near the level of Nintendo. I don’t have the know-how, imagination, or skill to come up with anything like that. Super Mario Maker fan Metroid Mike 64 wanted to see if he could create an adventure akin to that of Nintendo, and it turns out all it takes to make that happen is hard work, dedication, and 7 long years!

Metroid Mike 64 has just released Super Mario Bros. 5, a 40-course adventure in Super Mario Maker 2 that he started planning out all the way back in 2015, which is when the original Super Mario Maker launched. Metroid Mike 64 couldn’t bring together his vision for the first Super Mario Maker, but the sequel allowed him to finally make his vision a reality.

If you’d like to give Super Mario Bros. 5 a shot, all you need is a copy of Super Mario Maker 2 and the course code below!

Wow that’s a lot of work. Definitely going to download the course.

It’s such a shame Nintendo doesn’t support SMM2 more. But I guess they don’t want to overshadow community created content.

Had to come back and say thanks for sharing this world. I played the first world and the levels are fun.
