Nintendo faces Wii U trademark opposition in England
Could the Wii U end up being named something else in England? That might be the case, if Information Technology Junction Limited has anything to say about it.
Information Technology Junction Limited holds a U-related trademark. Obviously they do not have any ties to the Wii name, but their company does hold the domain http://www.u-do.com/. It seems the battle here is going to be over the 'U', as ITJL believes it to be quite important to their business.
Is Nintendo going to settle with this company, will they battle it out to try and get fair usage or will the Wii U get a name change in England?
