God, this is never going to stop hurting, is it? Iwata was too good for this world. Literally dying but still wanting people to have fun. I'm welling up just thinking about it...

I'm still sad he's no longer with us.

In fact, he did so much work on Pokemon Go, they managed to fit the entire Kanto region i- Oh wait that's the other thing

Pokemon Go was his last game he had helped out... Sad I miss him!! (sobs)

When my father had cancer he couldn't do anything in his final weeks. The fact that Iwata kept working just shows his passion as a game developer.

I'm sorry for your loss and I 100% believe that Iwata was capable of this. The man had great ambition but still loved the industry to the point were he would try to do the best for the community and the company without sacrificing his morals.

I'm sorry for your loss

Thanks. 😊

Indeed. WoW. High work ethic..much like i would see myself doing..to the end. To the end.
Cosmic Speed to you Iwata-San and thanks! Smile

I have never cried from a celebrity death (let alone a businessman), but Iwata's got me... twice. Such a good guy.

I'm still upset/sad that they never let us know that Iwata went to the hospital before he passed... All of a sudden, we were dumped on with the shocking news when we thought he was OK...

It was actually quite widely reported and obvious that he wasn't well going by his later public appearances. There were various games websites that reported on multiple occasions that he was looking gaunt and he was struggling with his health.

Still didn't make it any less of a surprise Sad

And now I'm crying.

I still miss him. Sad

I guess that explains why the game is so buggy. Iwata wasn't there anymore to fix everything right before it was released.
