Japan facing Switch game shortages

Dear lord, Nintendo fans in Japan can't catch a break! First they struggle for months and months to find the Switch in stock. Now the Switch stock seems to have leveled out, but games are hard to find! Multiple retailers are reporting complete sellouts of titles like The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, ARMS, 1-2 Switch, Xenoblade Chronicles 2, Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2, and others. Furthermore, some of the games in stock are just short of selling out, so the situation will get worse in a few weeks! Looks like the Japanese will have to stock up on microSD cards and go the digital route to get the games they want.

Wow. You know there's an issue when 1-2 Switch is selling out.

Australia seems to be having a similar issue, but it is more that the Switch is less popular here so there are less people buying games. It could be the same type of issue, but I doubt it.
