Latest Switch firmware causes issue with some third party controllers

Once again, we have some more tidbits from the most recent Switch firmware update that Nintendo didn't bother to include in their own patch notes. It seems that some third party controllers have stopped functioning, and are causing the system to crash, spitting out error 2162-0002. Nintendo is yet to comment on this issue.

That's kinda why I never buy third party controllers.

I remember Nintendo saying that 3rd party accessories are supported since a specific OS version, so I don't think they were disabled intentionally

do people even like that horrible ouya controller design?

8Bitdo Controllers are still working.

I don't get why people would want unlicensed controllers instead of the official ones. They will almost always never work and they are always in poor quality.

Oh, come now, RMC. What did you expect? Did you expect them to put "Third party controllers won't work anymore" into their patch notes? That is even assuming it is intentional.

I don't think it's a matter of them not bothering
