By now, you know that Blade Strangers is coming Aug. 28 to Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4 and Steam and that it offers epic crossover 2D fighting with renowned characters from titles like Cave Story+, Code of Princess EX, The Binding of Isaac: Afterbirth+ and Shovel Knight. But, there’s more to the action than just standard one-on-one battles. Here’s a look at all the various modes and features that will be available when Blade Strangers greets you later this month.
Story Mode
Experience the narrative of Blade Strangers and learn how the sentient computers called Motes brought together heroes from disparate universes in an attempt to defeat the evil, all-consuming entity known as Lina. Each character has his or her own unique storyline and dialogue, and even though Lina is the game’s villain, you can play through this mode as her, too. But if you do, there might be a much different ending…
