What is it with Nintendo and Amazon? There have been so many times in the past where the two just don't get along, and we see hardware/software removed from the site. Rumor has it that situation has cropped up again, this time specific to Amazon France. Here's the details we've heard so far.

- you cannot buy the Switch on Amazon France anymore
- Amazon France was selling the base Switch at 270€, much lower than other retailers
- Nintendo decided to yank Switch stock for Amazon France based on this
- neither Amazon or Nintendo would comment on the matter to IGN
- this will impact select games in the future, including Super Mario Party and Smash Bros. Ultimate

Again, seeing how Nintendo and Amazon have struggled in the past, hearing the above info isn't surprising. Hopefully the two sides can come together and work things out.
