Justice for Bucken-Berry! Looks like Nintendo didn't take Bucken-Berry out of New Super Mario Bros. U Deluxe. They just made him unlockable. Glad to see him retained for this port. Now it can be Bucken-Berry and Ala-Gold together again, as it always should be!
I'm 99% sure those names were faked by whoever made the NSMBW impressions article and thrown in as a joke and people somehow took them as factual since Nintendo's never mentioned them once themselves and always called them "Toad" or "Blue/Yellow Toad"
I call him Yvan. And the other Wolley. Just because I like names that are another word, but inverted. :P

Someone once said the names were nicknames the developers gave them. But even then, they are not actual, canonical names.
Unfortunately you still cant play with both Bucken-Berry and Ala-Gold at the same time. So someone will have to play an easy mode character in 4-player
This is what I find strangest. I am perfectly okay with Toadette being in the game and with her being an easier character. But I don't get how this game promotes 4-player coop but doesn't allow for all 4 players to have equal footing
