More details on New Super Mario Bros. U Deluxe's first week of Japanese sales
As we reported earlier in the week, New Super Mario Bros. U took the No. 1 position on the Japanese software charts for the week, coming in with 178,512 copies sold. Now we have some follow-up info pertaining to sell-through rate.
According to Dengeki, the game managed to sell 60% of its initial retail shipment in its first week, which is pretty damn good. For comparison's sake, New Super Mario Bros. U saw a sell-through rate of 50% in its launch week.
