Dear Reader:
We. The Revolution doesn't require you to play its familial portion
Many might believe that We. The Revolution is all about the decisions that take place in the courts, and the public backlash that follows. While that's certainly true, Polyslash decided to add in some familial aspects to the gameplay as well. The thing is, if the player doesn't feel like taking on that part of the journey, they don't have to. Familial content is completely optional, but the Polyslash team feels taking on those elements might give you a completely different outlook on the whole experience.
Perhaps some players will think that it would be easier to play without it, that it would be easier to exist in the story’s world? And that’s one more layer of interpretation of our game – if you dedicate your life to fighting for power, sooner or later you will see that the most precious thing you have has turned in your mind into a burden that stands between you and your goal. The challenge, then, doesn’t come from “getting a high score,” but from keeping a balance.
