QuakeCon 2019 kicks off the 'Year of Doom,' will include Doom Eternal news an 'a few surprises'

Did you know that Doom is celebrating its 25th anniversary? That's probably why Bethesda and id Software have labeled 2019 as the Year of Doom. That celebration of all things Doom officially kicks off at this year's QuakeCon, which is set for July 25th to 28th, 2019.

Wondering what's in store for QuakeCon 2019 as far as Doom is concerned? id Software says there will be “Doom-inspired activities, events, exclusives, developer panels, hands-on demos, new information about Doom Eternal, and a few surprises we aren’t quite ready to talk about.”
