Zelda: Breath of the Wild's VR mode still functions when your Switch is docked

Not exactly the best way to play

Don't have Nintendo Labo's VR Kit, but still want to experience Zelda: Breath of the Wild's VR mode? You can make the horrible decision of turning on the VR option and dropping your Switch into its dock to see the image above! Yes, you can really play like this on your TV if you want to drive yourself nuts.

Thanks to Kolma for the heads up!

Pardon me while I strap a 60” TV to my head.

actually, if you can cap it and if its running at a decent framerate and higher resolution docked, you can export some pretty decent VR videos, I would think.

I played this in VR mode on my 3D TV...not the best, but adjusting the settings, you get a sorta 3D effect....think just also need to sit further back as well as adjust the space between sides.

So...
... if I were to strap binoculars to my head, would that work on my TV? In theory, I could focus each lens on one image, right?

This means if you have a Switch and another VR headset then you could potentially play the entire game in stereoscopic 3D on a giant virtual screen inside that headset using BigScreen, which could be rather cool.

I wonder if I can get this to work on PlayStation VR!!!!
