Japan's Heisei era has come and gone, and now our friends in Japan are living in the Reiwa era. That doesn't mean people are done talking about the Heisei era, though. A recent issue of Famitsu asked some big-name devs what game/series they thought should represent the Heisei era, and Nintendo got some huge praise from a pair of very notable game industry folk.

Dragon Quest creator Yuji Horii said The Legend of Zelda series deserves the honor, and pointed to both Ocarina of Time and Breath of the Wild in particular as stand-outs for the franchise. This sentiment was echoed by Level-5 CEO Akihiro Hino, who chose Zelda: Breath of the Wild as the game worthy of the praise. He also happened to nominate the entire Dragon Quest series as well, noting that video games in general would be quite different without the impact of Dragon Quest.
