Pokemon Sword & Shield may have an autosave feature

Pokemon Sword and Shield will offer players all kinds of new Pokemon and places to explore, but that's not all players have to look forward to. There's a number of minor tweaks in there as well, and it seems like an auto-save feature might be one of them.

As you can see in the image above, a "now saving" blurb pops up on-screen when you enter one of the game's shops. This screen comes from a gameplay segment during the most recent Nintendo Direct, and it clearly shows the game saving when walking into the shop, rather than saving through a menu brought up by the player.

Having the option to both auto-save and manually save would be the best of both worlds, but that's not confirmed just yet. We'll have to hang tight a bit longer to find out.
