GN Version 5.0

Here's the most random news you're going to hear all week. The JUICE Explorer (Jupiter Icy Moons Explorer) is being built right now, and its team is gearing up for a launch in 2022. JUICE will be monitoring Jupiter’s moons in 2022, and we now know that Sonic will be part of the mission.

Japan’s Tohoku University got permission to include Sonic on the Explorer's logo, as you can see above. In particular, Sonic is part of the logo of the RPWI (Radio and Plasma Wave Investigation) device. Representative Prof. Jan-Erik Wahlund proposed the idea to SEGA, as Sonic is a hero who has had quite a few journies into space throughout his career.
