Japanese Pokemon Sword and Shield fans angered over the game's listing for Curry Toast

People will get angry at anything

Out of all the things to cause controversy with Pokemon Sword and Shield, I did not expect this to be one. Japanese fans are pretty upset with the listing for Curry Toast, as they feel the info on the meal is disrespectful.

The listing says Curry Toast is a meal that “contains two types of carbohydrates that will surely satisfy someone’s hunger, whether they like it or not” and “a dish that could be made by an amateur.” Apparently this is enough to rile up some fans, who have been hitting out a Pokemon Company with comments like the ones below.

“How could they express the dish with negative words such as ‘whether you like it or not’ and ‘amateur’?”

“The Pokedex in Pokemon Sun and Moon was trash. As expected, the Curry Dex seems terrible.”

“What’s this? How did the developers even think this description is interesting?”

“What kind of description is this… the words seem to contradict themselves in one sentence..”

“This is a huge nightmare.”

“To put it mildly, the description is a pile of dung”

I've never made Curry Toast, but I'd guess that it's an easy one to make...since part of it is toast! As for the "whether they like it or not" statement, I guess some people just don't like the idea of anyone not enjoying the meal!
