Could this be the first look at Sonic's redesign in the upcoming Sonic the Hedgehog movie? We're not quite sure, as the source supposedly comes from someone at Paramount, but that's not confirmed at the time. If this is indeed real, it does show a version of Sonic that a lot more fans will feel good supporting.
The movie still looks like crap regardless of design that being said this design looks much better and what it should've been from the start.
It looks much better. Not really sure if I'm gonna go to the theaters to watch it, but I think I'll check it out eventually because I like the cast.
Now THAT'S Sonic!!! I hope this is the real thing.

If this turns out to be real, I have no issues... but it does make me wonder who or why the original design was what they were going for. Anyway, it still does not solve my main issue with the movie... oh well.
It's tons better but the problems go a lot deeper than this. At any rate, I can't wait for the Hollywood Reporter investigative piece to reveal what the hell brought about that original design and why the hell no one stopped it.
Looks fake to me. Though even if it's fake at least the creator of this realised that Sonic's face is all about eyes the size of baseballs.
Not those beady little dolls eyes that the movie version had that haunt my nightmares. (~_~)
Looks fake. Even then, I wouldn't watch this movie. Why not making a 3D movie? Why do all these movies have to have a lame mix between real life characters and 3D game characters. I know it's because it sells a lot, but does it really sell that well? Wouldn't a 3D animation movie that does justice to the games and pleases fans sell a lot more? Not sure, but I wish publishers would try new things in animation instead of having these movies over and over again. Everything in this field feels like the smurfs to me.
