Fatal Frame producer wants to make an installment for Switch

Sounds like a good idea!

Even though the Wii U didn't light the sales charts on fire, it still gave fans a chance to experience the Fatal Frame series. Since the Switch is such a bigger success, it only seems right that Fatal Frame has another chance to reach a bigger audience. If series producer Keisuke Kikuchi has his way, a new entry will come to Switch.

In an interview with NintendoEverything, Kikuchi flat-out says he'd like to make a Fatal Frame game for Switch.

“Yeah, I do want to make a Fatal Frame on Switch. I think it’d be a ton of fun to play with the console in handheld mode and moving all around.”

Maybe if I could take it somewhere warm and bright with all my friends around I could finally play a horror game.

They could start by porting Maiden of the Black Water, and also release the fourth game outside of Japan for starters, but I wouldn't say no to an entirely new entry either.

Just streamed the fourth a couple weeks back. Had bought my copy ages ago and had never played it until then. At least it has an English fan translation.

I was thinking about these games the other day. I hope with get a new game or even a port of the Wii U games

Heck, it would give a reason to use the camera toy-con from the VR Labo set.

Start by porting over an uncensored version of Maiden of Black Water...

They can start by porting the Japan only release. Then let's see how we go from there
