Mortal Kombat movie writer says "there's a plan in place for everyone"

The Mortal Kombat film has officially started shooting, but much of the project is still shrouded in mystery. We do know a handful of characters that will appears, which has made some fans worry that their favorites will be forgotten. While remaining vague, Mortal Kombat writer Greg Russo has given fans hope for more of the roster appearing.

I understand some fans are concerned that certain characters haven't been announced. Let me assure you that there's a plan in place for everyone. Has been for some time. No one will be replaced and no one will be forgotten. It's about making sure we do them proper justice!
