GN Version 5.0

Not that long ago, we shared the sad news of AlphaDream filing for bankruptcy. It was hard to believe that the developer was in trouble, as they had worked on so many Nintendo titles throughout the years. Still, their financial struggles were big enough to push them to bankruptcy.

What lies ahead for the company? We're not quite sure yet, as it's always possible someone could swoop in and save the day. If that doesn't happen, we now know what AlphaDream's last game was. It's been confirmed that they did some work for Mario & Sonic at the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games, which once again gives them ties to Nintendo, as well as SEGA. Let's hope the Big N makes a move and salvages this studio.

Thanks to Andreslop24 for the heads up!
