The Mortal Kombat movie may be wrapping up its filming schedule
That's a wrap!
The Mortal Kombat movie started filming Sept. 16th, 2019, and it looks like all the principal filming may be done as of today. Lewis Tan, one of the actors in the film, took to Twitter to share this.
Only the finale left on this vigorous yet edifying journey, I’ll wear the battle wounds (some fake some real) with pride. I am beyond excited to share this film with you all. #MortalKombat @wbpictures pic.twitter.com/gWuA9OSAS2

While there's sure to be some re-shoots inbetween now and release, it does seem that the movie has finished up its first filming schedule. Now the project will move into the all-important editing phase.
