Atlus reconfirms that Shin Megami Tensei V is 'under active development'

We really haven't seen or heard much about Shin Megami Tensei V since it was originally announced years ago. This has lead to many fans worrying about the game's progress. Atlus has already assuaged fears once back in November by saying rumors of the game's cancellation were flat-out untrue. Now Atlus has once again confirmed that the title is moving ahead.

This week's issue of Famitsu includes a plethora of new year's messages from game devs and pubs, and Atlus is among them. Atlus made mention of Shin Megami Tensei V in their blurb, stating that the game is still 'under active development.' While no other details were shared, it does seem likely that the curtain will be lifted a bit more on this game in 2020.
