Nintendo France will fix/replace Switch Joy-Con even after the warranty has expired
Going a step beyond
The Switch Joy-Con drift issue continues to impact some customers, and depending on where you live, the solution to your problem could be quick and easy, or quite a pain. Over in France, things are now much easier for people to get their malfunctioning Joy-Con either fixed or replaced.
Nintendo's Philippe Lavoue has said that customers who are experiencing issues with their Joy-Con can get them fixed or replaced even if a Switch warranty has expired. Customers just have to go through the normal channels and explain the situation to get the issue remedied.
