This week's issue of Famitsu reveals an interesting tidbit about the upcoming SEGA AGES: Sonic the Hedgehog 2. When the game hits the Switch, it will also include “Knuckles the Echidna in Sonic the Hedgehog 2,” which is a mode that was originally playable on the SEGA Genesis via Sonic & Knuckles' Lock-On Technology cartridge. Now all you need is a Switch and a copy of this game to enjoy the mode!
