Modder reveals Super Mario 64 X Banjo-Kazooie project
Guh-HUH?
Kaze Emanuar, the king of N64 mods and hacks, has revealed his new project. He's taking the worlds of Super Mario 64 and Banjo-Kazooie and mashing them together with Mario 64 X Banjo-Kazooie.
As you can see in the video above, Mario has found himself in Spiral Mountain from Banjo-Kazooie. While the enemies have been changed up, the level layout remains faithful to Banjo-Kazooie. It seems the goal of this mod is to bring Mario into the Banjo-Kazooie experience, and there's still a ton of work to be done.
No release date for this project just yet. Let's hope work continues without issue, but I have a feeling Nintendo might swoop in!
