Switch returns to the Japanese My Nintendo Store, customers crash the site, stock sells out almost instantly

The standard Switch, which hasn't been available on the My Nintendo store in Japan since Feb. 10th, 2020, had a surprise restock today. Once word spread on the restock, customers flooded the online store as quickly as they could, which caused the site to crash. That onslaught of customers were still able to snatch up the system before everything fell apart, and when the site came back to life, it revealed that all units sold out. Looks like the Switch stock situation in Japan is only going to get worse!
