More details on Pokémon Mystery Dungeon Rescue Team DX's debut sales in Japan
A pretty great debut
Earlier in the week, we shared that Pokémon Mystery Dungeon Rescue Team DX had sold 138,000 units in three days on the market. That accounts for 70% of launch stock, so it's certainly a good debut for the game. It looks like Nintendo and Pokemon Co. paid close attention to sales for previous entries to gauge expectations for this one.
Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Rescue Team Blue sold 141,000 copies on Nintendo DS back when it launched, and Pokemon Super Mystery Dungeon moved 151,000 copies for the 3DS. Now we'll have to see how far the popularity of the Switch will take Pokémon Mystery Dungeon Rescue Team DX.
