Fortune names both Mario and Pokemon among the top 100 "Greatest Designs of Modern Times"
Modern marvels
Fortune has teamed up with the IIT Institute of Design for a really interesting top 100 list. Their feature aims to name the top 100 products that are examples of the "greatest designs of modern times." The list supposedly showcases "products have made our lives simpler, better, and yes, more stylish."
On the list you'll find two big-name Nintendo brands. Mario manages to come in at spot #44, and Pokemon is named a bit lower at #67. There's no doubt both brands are instantly recognizable juggernauts, and I'd say they've certainly made our lives better!
