RUMOR: Mortal Kombat 11: Aftermath's characters might be released individually

I'd buy that for a dollar!

GN Version 5.0

Mortal Kombat 11: Aftermath is an expansion for Mortal Kombat 11 that includes three new characters; Sheeva, RoboCop, and Fujin. The package is priced at $40, and some people are complaining that they don't want to spend that much for characters they're not interested in. What do you do if you only want one or two of the characters? It seems there might be a solution on the way.

The Steam version of Mortal Kombat 11 has just received an update, and it could point to a new way to get these characters. Individual listings for Sheeva, RoboCop, and Fujin were added to the game's code, and each are shown as an individual purchase. All versions of Mortal Kombat 11 have seen the same content updates and features, so if the Steam version of the game will let you purchase the Aftermath character individually, then the same thing should happen on Switch as well.

This isn't confirmed information just yet, as Warner Bros. and NetherRealm haven't mentioned anything. The database update does mention June 16th though, so if this option is coming, we'll find out quite soon.
