According to Guatemalan retailer MAX, Ubisoft may have plans to soon announce a remake of the original Prince of Persia. A listing has recently appeared on their official website for both Switch and PS4 versions, with pre-orders currently being taken for a November 2020 launch window.

While retailer listings for unannounced games don't always come into fruition, Jason Schreier (a video game reporter at Bloomberg) seems to be teasing the game's legitimacy on Twitter. Replying to a skeptic's response of "I don’t believe it’s true", Schreier tweeted "This tweet won’t age well.”

With Schreier having a known track record for leaking details on various Ubisoft titles, it seems that we can likely expect an official announcement from Ubi for a Prince of Persia remake sometime in the near future.
