Disgaea 5 'free play' offer for Switch Online members now live in Japan
The full game for free!
Those in Japan who have a Switch Online account can now enjoy Disgaea 5 from start to finish for free. This is part of a special campaign to promote the game following the announcement of Disgaea 6 for Switch. Those in Japan have until Sept. 27th, 2020 to enjoy Disgaea 5 for free. Along with that, the game will be available at a discounted price until Oct. 6th, 2020, where it will be available at 30% off (reduced from ¥7,678 to ¥5,374).
A similar deal to play the game for free/buy at a discounted price will be available for Switch Online members in the West from Sept. 23rd to 29th, 2020.
