Nintendo re-ups trademarks for Pokémon HeartGold and Pokémon SoulSilver in Japan
What's the plan, Nintendo?
Nintendo has been on a trademark spree in recent weeks, and the trend continues with another pair of re-ups. Nintendo has filed for Japanese trademarks on Pokémon HeartGold and Pokémon SoulSilver, and these apply to 50 products and services, including video game programs and more. As to what Nintendo is actually going to do with the trademarks, if anything, remains to be seen.
