Nintendo is lining up all sorts of fun events for the Super Mario Bros. 35th anniversary, and some of them are going to be available in Japan only. Nintendo has detailed one of those special events today.

Nintendo is teaming with the JR East rail system in Japan for a “JR East Super Mario PLAY! TOKYO!” event. This is going to be a multi-faceted event that kicks off with a stamp rally at 35 different stops. Stamps are collected digitally by scanning them with your smartphone at each stop. There will also be a way to participate in this stamp rally at home. Those who collect the digital stamps have a chance to win a limited edition stamp pass case. The stamp rally runs from Oct. 8th to Dec. 17th for the in-person version, and online from Nov. 10th to Dec. 17th, 2020.

This special event will also include an exhibit at both Tokyo Station and Shinjuku Station. These stations will have displays set up that showcase art and more from Mario's 35 years. The Tokyo Station display can be found on the 2nd floor deck of GRANROOF, and it'll be available from October 8th, 2020 to November 23rd, 2020. As for the display at Shinjuku Station, that can be found at the south exit. You can check out more pics of the setups here.
