TGS Media Awards 2020 winners revealed, multiple Switch titles make the top 15

GN Version 5.0

The winners of TGS Media Awards 2020 were announced, which involved input from Famitsu, Dengeki, 4Gamer, and V Jump. The Japanese public was involved as well, which determined the public’s most anticipated games via vote. There were 6,400 votes, and you can find the top 15 below.

1. Genshin Impact by miHoYo (PC, PS4, iOS, Android; also coming later to Switch)
2. Monster Hunter Rise by Capcom (Nintendo Switch)
3. Project Sekai Colorful Stage! feat. Hatsune Miku by Sega (iOS, Android)
4. Devil May Cry 5 Special Edition by Capcom (PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X)
5. Resident Evil Village by Capcom (PS5, Xbox Series X, PC; also possibly coming to PS4 & Xbox One)
6. Monster Hunter Stories 2: Wings of Ruin by Capcom (Nintendo Switch)
7. Final Fantasy XVI by Square Enix (PlayStation 5, PC)
8. Shin Megami Tensei III Nocturne HD Remaster by Atlus (PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch)
9. Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity by Koei Tecmo (Nintendo Switch)
10. Sakura Revolution by Sega (iOS, Android)
11. R-Type Final 2 by Granzella (PC, PS4, Switch, Xbox One, Xbox Series X)
12. Momotaro Dentetsu: Showa Heisei Reiwa mo Teiban! by Konami (Nintendo Switch)
13. Cyberpunk 2077 by CD Projekt Red [localized in Japan by Spike Chunsoft] (PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, PC, Stadia)
14. NieR Replicant ver.1.22474487139… by Square Enix (PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC)
15. Dynasty Warriors 9: Empires by Koei Tecmo (PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X, Xbox One, Switch, PC)

Each media outlet also gave out their own awards for best of the show. The TGS Famitsu Award and TGS V Jump Award were both given to Monster Hunter Rise, while the TGS Dengeki Award and TGS 4Gamer Award went to Cyberpunk 2077.
